The Island of Rhode, pt. II

So, like I said, the non-capitalization is out the window.

Anyways,
Things here on the good ol' east coast are quite boring, and I'm very ready to head back over to Southern California.

Why you ask?
Two reasons:
1. The East is slowwww. There are these stupid Dumpin' Donuts or whatever places EVERYWHERE, and some of them are REALLY huge! They're very popular. But Starbucks? There are barely any. And it's depressing because it's impossible to get good coffee.
But, even the stores in the malls are behind.
And I'm no homo or metro, and I really don't even care about what people wear all that much, but seriously, these eastern folks are wayyy behind on that. And it just makes me love how ego driven LA is. I'm dead serious. I feel like I'm having a really hard time wording things the way I want to with this, so we'll move on to something that's a little easier.
2. IT'S EFFING COLD! I want my 80 degree in almost-December weather, thank you very much. I like it. It's good. This 30 and 40 degree stuff is crap. And I'm sick of wearing thousands of layers of clothes. It takes me a while to get dressed in the morning.

So, those of you enjoying California, I envy you. Because you can buy the clothes that you want to wear, and you are warm.

Yesterday and today were fairly boring. We drove around a lot because my Dad was at the conference that he came here for. So we did the mall and just random driving around. I haven't been able to take as many pictures as I like, but it's hard with the streets and the way people drive here. Because they don't drive, they race. I think it's because the majority of them are college age folks.
Seriously, that's about it. I met a couple of nice guys yesterday that my Dad has been with, William Lane Craig was one of them. I was really hoping that Lee Strobel would be there, so that I could tell him I was planning on reading his book very soon, but I guess he doesn't come to these.

Oh! But today we were in the mall, and I went to the Apple store, and basically drooled everywhere. I asked one of the geniuses a ton of questions about wireless and mobile me crap. Time Capsule is so sick. So that was cool.

Tomorrow we switch hotels to a hotel near Boston. That'll be cool since it's a suite. I'm not really sure how we're paying for all this, but I'm not going to ask.

My brothers are beating each other up right now. Just thought I'd toss that in there.

I feel like the way I'm wording things isn't the way I naturally do. I need to relax or something.

What else has been going on...

Um, this time difference is screwing me up more than anything. It'll be like, noon, or 1, and I'll feel lame 'cause no one has texted me that day, and then I remember in Cali it's like 9 or whatever. And school days are weird too, because all my friends are in school until 4pm CA time, 7pm eastern. So that's been weird too.

And I'm really worried about getting behind in school now. It's been like a week since I've done any homework, and I actually just didn't realize I hadn't done any in so long. It's not too big of a deal since I have Thanksgiving break to do it, but I still want to have somewhat of a break when I get back, so I'm going to get started on that now. Like, right now.

Oh, and my computer won't play DVDs because of some gay DVD decoder crap that I don't have installed, and it just frustrates me because if I had a Macbook, I wouldn't have that problem.

This is too long for how insignificant it is.

much love.

I haven't experienced cold weather on the East Coast, but I can tell you that it has been slightly chilly in California the past couple of days...surprisingly. After the fires, it got really hot, of course, but it's been cold as of late. But of course Californian standards of "cold" are waaaaaayyy different from the east coast.
